Ingredients

  • 2 blocks of Dodoni Feta Cheese
  • 8 sheets of filo pastry
  • 4 tbsps of honey
  • 2 tbsps of sesame seeds
  • 1 tbsp of red wine vinegar
  • 1 tbsp of water
  • Olive oil

Process

  • Cut each block of Feta into 4
  • Then, cut one filo pastry sheet in half and brush with olive oil.
  • Put the 2 halves of the filo on top of each other and place one block of the Feta cheese in the middle
  • Folding up the edges, wrap the block of Feta in the filo and continue this step for the remaining Feta
  • On a high heat, add a drizzle of olive oil to a warm frying pan
  • Fry both sides of the filo wrapped Feta parcels until they look crisp and golden, remove from the pan and lay aside to rest
  • In a small pan, stir together the honey, red wine vinegar and water and slowly bring to the boil
  • Drizzle the dressing over the top of the Feta and filo parcels and top with the sesame seeds
